New assistant joins growing Belmayne team

Belmayne partner, Ben Smalley, welcomes Louise Dawson to the team.

DRonfield-based financial planners, Belmayne, are expanding their support team with the appointment of a new personal assistant.

An independent Derbyshire firm welcomes Louise Dawson to its administration department to help partner Ben Smalley manage his clients and caseload.

Louise joins Belmayne after ten years at Aviva, working in pensions, investments and protection. During that time she began studying for a Diploma in Financial Planning, something she wanted to take further in her new position.

As Ben’s personal assistant, Louise will liaise directly with clients and referrers, manage his diary and deal with paperwork. She said: “Belmayne is very family orientated and as a mother of young children, joining this tight-knit team was a really attractive prospect. I enjoy interacting with clients and helping Ben deliver the high quality service that the firm is known for.”

Ben added: “It is a pleasure to welcome Louis to our team. We will work closely together to streamline the services provided and increase efficiency. Her financial services experience and professional qualifications enable her to understand the Belmayne proposition very well and her friendly approach is already a hit with colleagues and clients alike.”

The company celebrates 20 years since its foundation this year. It is run by four partners who focus on controllable aspects of financial planning, such as risk, tax benefits and investment costs. By doing so, they provide plans that give clients the freedom to enjoy their retirement without worry.
