Oakes Energy appoints an experienced National Business Development Manager to its growing team

James Carter, the new National Business Development Manager at Oakes Energy Services

OClimate solutions specialist akes Energy Services has appointed a new national business development manager as demand for its services continues to grow.

James Carter, 36, joined the North East firm after working closely with Oakes Energy during his time at Oakes Energy’s German engineering partner and main parent, Viessmann.

During his 10 years at Viessmann, James held several roles, such as International Sales Manager, which enabled him to work with global brands such as Nestle, Ikea and the Hilton Group.

In his new role, James will work with new and existing customers to grow the business across the UK.

James’ passion for working in the plumbing, heating and engineering industry was sparked by working part-time for a small family business in Huddersfield as a 15-year-old.
His career took off when he joined national firm Wolseley UK where he completed his apprenticeship in plumbing and heating. He then achieved an NVQ in Management before joining Viessmann.

James Carter said: “I am delighted to be joining such an exciting company with incredible expansion plans for 2024.
“I have worked closely with the team at Oakes Energy since 2020 and know first-hand that the company is leading the way as a renewable energy provider.”
