CAMBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM, Oct. 31, 2023 / — Cognidox, a leading provider of document management capabilities for the high technology, medical systems and life sciences industries, today announces integration with DocuSign eSignature.

Designed to streamline digital engagement with third-party events, the all-new integration provides Cognidox customers with the most prevalent electronic signature capabilities. It already offers a robust digital signature resolution for FDA 21 CFR Half 11 compliance, providing full management of the approval processes required by regulatory bodies worldwide for healthcare system growth. However, as this may be a closed-loop system that ensures information integrity, digitally signing and approving paperwork requires all events to have a Cognidox login.

The all-new integration offers an easy, safe and short document admissible for approvals and signatures, comparable to purchase contracts, monetary documentation, labor contracts and gear calibration verification. This means that signers do not need to be allowed into Cognidox – they just signal PDF documents via an electronic signature.

Importantly, the entire process of electronic signature is managed from within Cognidox. Throughout the entire solution, paperwork is created, after which customers choose designated signing areas and events. The documents are then converted to PDF and email requests are sent to the required signatories. Signatures are instantly captured across the PDF along with date and time stamps, and the signed PDF is mechanically up-to-date in Cognidox. All signatories will then receive a final email copy of the document for their information. The dashboard offers a full overview of the method. Blending allows organizations to leverage their current DocuSign credentials, saving money and simplifying administration.

“At Cognidox, we’re always looking for ways to improve consumer expertise and help our clients work faster and smarter,” said Joe Byrne, CEO of Cognidox. “The inclusion of DocuSign eSignature as a digital signature option alongside our current FDA-compliant resolution exemplifies this approach. It expands the alternative and enables seamless digital collaboration, while maintaining full management of the method through the Cognidox platform, making it possible to assemble all our clients’ wishes.”

DocuSign provides the world’s number one electronic signature resolution as part of its core product line. The DocuSign eSignature Plug-in for Cognidox is now available for Cognidox clients.
