Five gain promotion to HURST

IIndependent accountancy and business consultancy HURST has announced a number of promotions in its corporate services team.

Four out of five people promoted started their careers at the company as interns.
Chris Stewardson, who became partner, joined as a trainee in 2005. He was promoted to manager in 2014 and to associate partner in 2021.

Ryan Tattler, who joined as a trainee in 2015, becomes senior manager. He became associate manager in 2019 and manager in 2021.

Rebecca McLoughlin has been promoted to manager. She joined HURST as an intern in 2017.

Lisa Everett, who became an associate manager, started at the firm as an intern in 2019.

Paul Corner, who has been with HURST since 2001, has become a senior manager.

HURST focuses on advising business owner-managed businesses with a turnover of £5 million and above across all sectors. Clients include Kinaxia Logistics, M&I Materials, Beechfield Brands, Duerr’s, Oliver Valves, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Krones UK, Creamline Dairies, Arighi Bianchi, Scapa Group and Hyde Group.

The firm’s business services team, led by partner Mike Jackson, provides compliance and advisory services to a growing client base.

“Many of our team have been with us for most of their professional careers. Chris, Rebecca, Ryan and Lisa trained with us. Paul has been with us for over 20 years and has played a big role in shaping our culture.
